How to compare DDP and DAP for small replenishment orders
Clarify the named place, import responsibility and final delivery scope before comparing quotations.

The two terms in plain language
Both DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) and DAP (Delivered At Place) describe a delivery to a named destination. The practical difference sits with the import side: who clears the goods, who bears the duty and tax, and where the handover actually stops.
Where the difference shows up on a quote
Ask each quotation to state the named place, the included import charges and the final receiving address. Two totals that look similar can cover very different scopes once duty, tax, unloading or a further leg are added.
