What happens to returns that are not approved for repair or resale?

Keep the goods on hold while the owner decides the next step. Confirm any storage charges and request written instructions before arranging another shipment or further handling. Any specialist treatment or disposal requires a separately reviewed scope and an appropriate provider.

Does resale preparation guarantee that returned goods will sell?

No. Resale preparation concerns the agreed condition checks, packing and handling tasks. Saleability depends on the product, its condition and the intended channel. The seller must confirm ownership, selling authority and the requirements of the intended market. A sale price or sale completion is not guaranteed.

Can returns from several orders be combined into one shipment?

Returns can be reviewed for consolidation when their handling needs and release dates are compatible. Keep each order identifiable and confirm which items are approved to move. Compare storage, handling and combined freight costs with separate shipments before choosing the plan.

How should inspection and repair work be approved?

Set the inspection checklist and reporting format before the goods are assessed. Identify who can approve costs and any additional tests. Repair work should follow your written approval of the proposed scope. Keep the findings and the release decision with the order or serial reference.

Can every returned product be repaired?

Repair feasibility depends on the fault, product design, parts availability and the support available from the supplier or repair provider. Agree the assessment first. Review the proposed work and cost before authorising repair; a return booking does not guarantee that the product can be restored.

What information is needed to arrange a cross-border return?

Provide the product description, quantity, current location, return reason and original order or shipment reference. Include photos and any known damage or missing parts. Confirm the receiving party and its acceptance before collection. Shipping records and handling requirements are reviewed for the proposed return route.
