Start from the destination, not the rate
The freight rate is the same cargo-wide; the customs side is destination-specific. Duty rates, restricted goods, certification and documentation all follow the import country, so the destination review should come first.
What to confirm for each destination
For every destination, confirm four things before booking: the import duty and tax basis for the product, any restricted or licensed goods rules, the certificates the product must carry, and the document set the broker will need. Write the answers down once and reuse them for every shipment to that market.
Turn the review into the shipment plan
A destination review only pays off when it reaches the shipment: the packing list, the invoice descriptions and the labels should match what the review found. Share the outcome with the supplier early, so corrections happen in China instead of at the border.
