Does an FOB price include cargo insurance?

FOB does not automatically include a seller-provided cargo insurance policy. If cover is required, arrange it separately and verify the insured goods, value, route, period, exclusions and claims procedure with the provider. A freight booking or carrier liability should not be treated as confirmation that a suitable cargo policy is in place.
